The Swindon Wildcats are going for the biggest crowd in the Link Centre’s recent history on the 14^th March as they launch their BUY ONE GET ONE FREE game.

Paul Oughton of the Wildcats says “ We have had some excellent crowds this year but we are really looking to push this up even further on the 14^th March and go for a Wildcats attendance record.   We are running a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE promotion for this game so would like to encourage all of our supporters to bring a friend, and all of those former supporters to come along.  As its such a great price we also want to encourage as many new comers to the great experience of Ice Hockey in Swindon also, and I am sure they wont be disappointed”.

Ice Hockey in Swindon has grown significantly in the last 5 years with crowds triple over this time, but General Manager Steve Nell remembers how large the attendances were in the days of the Legendary Icelords “ Back in the 1990’s the Link Centre was jammed packed with regular capacity crowds supporting the Icelords.  Our crowds have been getting close but we are going all out to match those days on March 14^th”.

To take up the Wildcats offer supporters need to download a voucher from www.swindonwildcats.com, or get one from the Swindon Advertiser on Friday 5^th or 12^th March, or collect one of the thousands of leaflets that will be printed to publicise the game.

These vouchers need to then be handed in to the Link Centre reception to receive their tickets for the Wildcats encounter with old Rivals the Slough Jets.  Face off for the game is 6pm.
