Swindon's premier Ice Hockey team, the Wildcats, are delighted to confirm the return of Matt Foord for his second season at the Link Centre outfit.

Foord, 29, is a hard-working forward willing to pitch in and fit in any role that his Coach needs him to play.

His physical presence on the Wildcats' powerplay combined with his high-energy leadership when called into action on any of his side's forward lines made him an invaluable assett last season, and Coach Aldridge will be looking for more of the same next season:

"He is a confidence player that can take a little time to get used to his surroundings.

"Second year in and I know that he is ready to step it up another level.

"He is one of those guys that I think of as the core of this team.
