The Swindon Wildcats ice hockey club is delighted to welcome back 16 year old Loris Taylor to their forward lines for the forthcoming English Premier Ice Hockey League campaign.

Taylor was a first-year senior for the last campaign as part of the Wildcats Academy programme, a close link-up with the town's premier youth development programme. After a slow start, Taylor grew in confidence and posted his first and only goal of the campaign in February's match at iceSheffield.

As a second year senior who will turn 17 just before the season's launch, Coach Ryan Aldridge will be looking for commitment and determination out of this promising young winger.

Aldridge commented on his latest 2010/2011 recruit that “Its Great to have Loris back.

“He is a young, skilled, player who has not hit his true potential.  We know it is going to take hard work to get him there.

“I want to have a team where players are fighting for spots to play and Loris will deserve a spot as long as his work rate is right as his skills, skating and shot are second to none at his age”.
