The Swindon Wildcats take to the Ice on Wednesday evening against the Slough Jets in the 2nd of their home challenge games as they warm up before their League campaign at the Link Centre on Saturday 19th September.
Having already secured a draw away at Slough in a 5-5 thriller the Wildcats will be looking for their second home win in a row, following on from their impressive 4-3 win over the strongly fancied Guildford Flames last Saturday. Things didn’t quite go to plan at the Spectrum, the home of the Flames on Sunday night as the Cats lost 8-1, but there is still a great feeling of optimism amongst the Swindon camp with new import signings Jan Krajicek and Raimond Danilics proving popular with the fans and the ever improving Aaron Nell showing he knows his way to the net.
Swindon Robins Speedway star Leigh Adams will be dropping the puck for Wednesday’s game which faces off at 7.30pm at the Link Centre as the Robins and Wildcats work together again as part of their Sporting Partnership.
