7 Reasons To Come To Saturday's Game!

There is a sense of déjà vu at the Wildcats, after securing back-to-back four point weekends, we return to home ice to take on the Cardiff Fire for the first time this season. Thinking of buying a ticket? Here are a few reasons why you really should!

1. Four-Point Weekend… Again – Last weekend we halted the charge from the Dynamos before grounding the Redhawks in London on Sunday. With four wins on the bounce, the feeling is good at the Wildcats right now and you would not want to miss out this weekend!

2. Friendly Fire – Cardiff are in town this weekend, and they should be bringing a host of familiar faces to the Swindon fans. Alex Symonds, Sam Smith and of course Callum Buglass are back in Swindon and we hope you give them all a warm welcome on Saturday!

3. Win with The Ridge – Our loyal sponsors The Ridge are offering some more brilliant prizes for this weekend. With five prizes on offer ensuring a free meal for one or a free side for one. All you need to do is catch a tennis ball before the game from Willie the Wildcat or one of the Widcats! Just like last week, and that was simple, wasn’t it?

4. Champions League – You may have heard on national radio, but the Nottingham Panthers and Cardiff Devils both had serious wins in the CHL last week. British hockey is on the up, it’s time to get down to the Better Link Centre and checkout your local side!

5. Super Jan Kostal – Captain Fantastic was back to his best last weekend with a couple of goals against the Dynamos, why not watch the highlights and then book your tickets? Sounds like a good idea to us!

6. Player Of The Month – Remember all the Doodle Polls you’ve been voting on, well this Saturday you’ll find out who your September player of the month is. Make sure you stay around for the Post Match Presentations to see who takes home the trophy for the first time this season!

7. In The Lair – The new programme feature is becoming a highlight of game day, this week we spoke to Jordan Kelsall so be sure to pick up your programmes on match night and read what the Limelight sponsored forward had to say about the season so far, and what it’s like icing in the Champions League!
