Prospect Hospice join forces with the Cats 18-19

Swindon Wildcats announce new partnership with Prospect Hospice

Swindon’s own ice hockey team, the Wildcats, have joined forces with one of the town and region’s best-loved charities, Prospect Hospice, in a new partnership to boost local awareness and name recognition for the hospice.

The new arrangement will see Prospect Hospice advertising boards prominently displayed at the Swindon Link arena during Wildcats’ matches in the months ahead.

Speaking about the partnership, Commercial Manager Sally Price said: “I am thrilled Wildcats have partnered with Prospect Hospice to help them raise awareness of this fantastic organisation. This is something very close to my own heart and I really look forward to helping them to achieve maximum exposure for the charity.”

Prospect Hospice supports a community of more than 300,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and north Wiltshire with the aim of bringing the best possible end-of-life care to people with life-limiting illnesses and offer support for the people closest to them.

Warren Finney, Prospect’s Head of Community Engagement, said: “It’s so important for Prospect Hospice that everyone in Swindon and NE Wiltshire knows how we help people with a life-limiting illness and that all our services are free, so they can access the help they need should they need it. We’re here to support all the Swindon community, and a partnership with the Wildcats is a great way for us to reach the thousands of people that go to the Wildcats games, so we are really looking forward to working with them to achieve this.”
