Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce that this coming weekend we will be supporting one of our loudest fans in support of the Quilter Foundation, with a charity collection at our opening game of the season.

Ian ‘Rodders’ Roderick will be completing a triathlon, along with Quilter Financial Planning Commercial Director Amanda Cassidy, this coming weekend to help raise money and awareness for young carers across the country and the Swindon area.

Hundreds of triathletes will swim, cycle and run this coming Sunday and as part of the planning they will be our first charity night of 19/20.

The Quilter Foundation partners with carers trust which helps support various carers centres throughout the UK, including the Swindon Carers Centre.

Ian said: “This year I have been on weight loss and fitness mission. I am very proud that this weekend I can help raise money and awareness for the Quilter Foundation, which in turn helps support the Carers Trust. I also have to thank Sally Price and the Nell family for helping us with a charity evening at the Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey.”
