Stevie enters his tenth straight year with the EPIHL Wildcats, and his fifteenth year associated with the club.  He continues to improve year on year as a player and was rewarded for his efforts with a two-year deal which was announced in April 2016, meaning he will remain at the club until the summer of 2018.

Having come through the clubs junior affiliate sides the Leopards (in 2004-05) and the Cougars, in 2007-08 he broke in to the NIHL set up and a year later, made his first appearance for the EPHIL Wildcats.

He played a bit-part for the side the following season (2009-10), but continued icing for the NIHL side and posted figures of 6 goals and 19 assists in 20 games followed the season after by 10 goals and 5 assists from 35 games and again featured on occasions for the EPIHL side.

2011-12 was his break-through season and although just 20-years of age, the player made a massive 54 appearances during the campaign.

He went on to repeat that appearance total the following season and even picked up his first senior goal for the side and in 2013-14, he was a regular again and he improved on his points tally from the previous two season, to record 11 points.

In 2014-15, he was announced as one of the clubs alternative captains, and despite missing some of the season recovering from concussion, he once again impressed on the ice and managed to notched up 2 goals and 13 assists (for 15 points) from a total of 46 games played.

Having given 100% effort in every game, the player also picked up the supporters Player of the Year award as well as the club award for Best Defenceman at the end of season (2014-15) presentation night, and he received the Supporters Club Defenceman of the Year award last season, which again, highlighted just how valuable the player is to the clubs roster.
