Cats Expand Swindon Ice Arena For 16/17

Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce that we will be expanding our seating space in the Swindon Ice Arena for the 2016/17 campaign.

After a hugely successful off-season which saw a 10% increase in season ticket sales compared to 2015/16, we have decided to fund the extra seating with the increased revenue from our new season ticket sales.

There will now be extra seating underneath the bar at the far end of the rink, giving more people the option to cheer on the Wildcats in ultimate comfort!

The new seats are a huge boost for the Cats and is another step in the right direction for the club, who are making huge strides both on and off the ice.

Speaking about the expansion, Wildcats General Manager Steve Nell said: "We decided to invest in more seating as we were consistently turning people away at the end of last season.

"When new families come for the first time they generally want to sit rather than stand. The seats will be in for the first game on 31st August and will remain in place until the end of the season.

"If they prove to be successful we will make them a permanent fixture for the 2017/18 season."

Tickets for our two pre-season home games against Basingstoke Bison and Bracknell Bees are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.
