Wildcats join forces with Positive Media for 18/19

Swindon Wildcats are overjoyed to be announcing a new media partnership ahead of the upcoming NIHLS1 season with Positive Media Group.

Positive Media Group, who were formed in April 2015, is an umbrella organisation covering both the North West and the South-East editions of Swindon Link as well as lifestyle magazine The Ocelot.

The group is the largest headquartered media provider in Swindon, with an unrivalled reach covering a range of demographics – from business to community groups to the going-out crowd.

Positive Media will appear in our match night magazine The Lair as well as have an upper rink board at the Better Link Centre. On top of this, Swindon Link & The Ocelot will be pushing our games and news in both print and online outlets.

As a bonus, they will also be running ticket competitions throughout the season as well!

Swindon Wildcats Commercial Manager Sally Price was thrilled to have secured one of Swindon’s most prominent Media Outlets for the upcoming season.

“I’m really happy that we have teamed up with Positive Media for the new season, they are a popular media group that are growing all the time, they reach a huge local audience which will be perfect to promote our game nights and local news. Happy to join forces for 18/19.”

Equally, Positive Media were equally as happy to be linking up with a cup winning organisation such as the Wildcats.

Jamie Hill, Group Editor at Positive Media Group, said:

“We are very excited by this partnership. At the heart of everything that the Wildcats do is teamwork and we are proud to be welcomed into that team. We share a common vision with The Wildcats of being at the heart of the community and we are both passionate about representing Swindon. As any ice hockey fan knows, teamwork is the ability to work together towards a common vision and we are honoured to be part of The Wildcats team as they follow that vision going into the new season.”
