Join The Old Town Celebration

The Swindon Wildcats will once again be attending the celebrations in Old Town when the 2014 Christmas lights are officially illuminated on Thursday, November 27th.


This year’s event, sponsored by Jack fm & Waitrose, will get underway at 6pm and other than a host of Wildcats players, the evening is set to feature Jack fm Breakfast Show presenter Carl Hughes, who will be joined by the Wyvern’s Dick Whittington cast, Swindon Town’s Nathan & Louis Thompson, the Tanwood Dancers, the Swindon Male Voice Choir accompanied by the Wroughton Silver Band, Les Bicyclettes Fire Extravaganza, the Mayor, Willie Wildcat, Royal Wootton Basset Town Crier Owen Collier, who will be leading the countdown to switch on   … oh, and not forgetting Santa on his sleigh! 


There’s also a FREE Old Town Businesses competition for 16-year old or under to enter, in conjunction with Richard James Estate Agents where cash prizes can be won!


Entrants need to draw their dream house and decorate it with Christmas lights to be in with a chance to win!


So get drawing and either email your image to by Monday December 8th, or drop it in at Richard James, 101 Victoria Road, Old Town including the name and email address of a parent or guardian, your age and telephone number.   


Only one entry per person, winners will be notified by Richard James by Monday December 15th.
