Cardwave Donate To Movember Efforts

Club sponsors add their support

Club sponsors Cardwave Services Ltd have boosted the Wildcats Movember funds with a generous £100 donation this week, raising the team’s funds to £190 so far.

Posting their message of support, Cardwave CEO Paul Norbury wrote:  “Cardwave are proud sponsors of the Swindon Wildcats and we are also pleased to pledge our support for Movember.

“Keep growing lads, I know from previous experience that it will begin to itch by now, but it's a brilliant cause and I hope others will follow and donate.”

Movember is about bringing back the moustache (Mo), having fun and doing good to change the face of men’s health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.

Mo Bros take action by changing their appearance through the growth of a new moustache for the 30 days of Movember, and in doing so become walking, talking billboards for men’s health.

Mo Sistas sign up and commit to supporting the men in their lives while helping to promote men’s health at home, in the workplace and within their community.

The moustache is participants ribbon – it’s their way of generating conversations, awareness and raising funds for men's health and speaking to swindonwildcats.com, forward Adam Harding who is heading the Wildcats Movember Team this season said:  “It’s a brilliant donation and on behalf of the team, I’d like to thank Paul [Norbury] and everyone at Cardwave for their support in our efforts towards this year’s Movember campaign.

“It was amazing to check our Movember page and find their donation during the week and we’re hoping to raise as much as we can in the final two weeks!”

Participant in this year’s Wildcats Movember Team will have their end of the month Mo’s judged by our panel of experts (Adam Harding, Sam Bullas and Kenton Smith) and the member with the best Mo will receive two free tickets to a Wildcats game.  You can sign up for the Wildcats Movember team and donate here.
