The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are proud to announce that Sam Bullas’ #13 jersey will be officially retired on Saturday, 21st November 2026, celebrating one of the most respected figures in the club’s history.
Ahead of the game, supporters will witness a special on-ice jersey retirement ceremony, honouring Bully's outstanding contribution to the Wildcats both on and off the ice.
A long-standing Wildcats captain, Bullas represented everything it meant to be a Wildcat. Across more than a decade in Swindon, he led by example with his commitment, professionalism and passion, becoming a role model for teammates and supporters alike.
A true Wildcats legend, Bullas, became renowned for his leadership, commitment and consistency. Across 877 appearances, he recorded 396 points (153 goals, 243 assists), cementing his place among the club’s all-time greats while captaining the team and helping inspire countless memorable moments for our Wildcats Fans.
Bullas’ impact stretched far beyond game nights. A familiar face in the local community, he played a huge role in engaging with supporters and helping inspire the next generation through the Swindon Wildcats Academy. His dedication to growing the game and giving back to the club made him an ambassador for the Wildcats in every sense.
