The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats can confirm that Josh Shaw and Tyler Perre will be departing the team ahead of the 26/27 season.
Tyler has been with the team for four seasons since returning from Bristol; meanwhile, Josh has been back in Swindon for three seasons.
Both have played a big role in the recent successes and have been fantastic ambassadors of the club on and off the ice.
Josh said: "Your support over my 3 years at the club has been incredible and I could not thank you enough. It was a dream for 5-year-old me to play for the Wildcats and through the ups and downs I have thoroughly enjoyed it all. Leaving as a league champion makes it sweeter. Most importantly, thank you to my teammates. I have learnt so much and laughed even more, and every memory will stick with me forever. On to the next chapter…!"
Tyler added: "The four seasons I’ve spent with the Wildcats have been incredible, and I can’t thank the team, the supporters, and the entire organisation enough for making the experience so special.
A particularly heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who supported me during my time away for health reasons. The encouragement, kind words, and genuine care I received were overwhelming, and I’ll be forever grateful for the support shown by every single one of you.
Thank you for the memories, the friendships, and the unwavering support. I’ll always look back on my time with the Wildcats with great pride and appreciation."
Aaron added: "On behalf of the club, I wish the best to Josh and Tyler and thank them for their commitment over the last few seasons. They’re both brilliant people and we wish them the best of luck moving forward".
