The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats can today confirm that Logan vande Meerakker will not be returning to the team for the 26/27 PINIHL Campaign.
Having arrived from the Evansville Thunderbolts last summer, Logan led the team in scoring 84 points in 49 games before adding a further 10 points in the playoffs.
Head Coach Aaron Nell had the following to say about Logan’s departure from Swindon:
We’d like to thank Logan for all his efforts in a Wildcats jersey. He became a top player for us. We’d like to wish him well in the future, and he will forever be a Swindon Wildcats league champion.
Logan added:
"Cats fans, I want to thank all of you for the support over the course of the season. You brought the noise every night and were all extremely welcoming. Opposing teams knew it was always going to be a long night at the Link Centre and you were a big part of that!
It was a great season, to be able and contribute towards winning the league is something I will never forget.
Most importantly, thank you to my teammates. I learned so much from the leadership in our room. We made unbelievable memories that I will not forget, and we will always be champions together."
