The Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to announce that Owen Griffiths is returning to the team for the upcoming 26/27 season.


Owen, a fan favourite and proven talent, will once again ice in a Wildcats jersey, bringing his skill and experience back to the Better Link Centre for another year. Owen is the latest name to put pen to paper on an extension as Aaron Nell continues to strengthen his roster for next year.


Aaron expressed his excitement at Griffiths' return: “Owen is a fantastic player with an exceptional work ethic and genuine commitment to the club. His presence both on and off the ice will be invaluable as we look to build on the success of this season and I’m thrilled to have Owen back with us again.


Owen shared his enthusiasm about rejoining the Wildcats: “Coming back to Swindon this season has been a truly great experience. Having the opportunity to play alongside some of my old teammates and build something special with the team has made the year so far incredible. When Aaron and I spoke about me signing back last year we went back and forth a few times, but when we spoke about the 26/27 season it took 5 minutes.


It was an easy decision. Aaron, Steve, and Lee are professional in the way they handle things here and they are putting together a good team that I wanted to be a part of”


I am looking forward to the 26/27 season in-front of the Swindon fans and hopefully build on what we are doing this season; there is some big goals ahead for the club and I look forward to helping us achieve that”
