With the ‘Beast from the East’ and Storm Emma, causing travel disruptions around the country, the Bison and the Wildcats have been monitoring the weather and road conditions ahead of tonight’s game.

With amber and yellow travel warnings issued by the Met Office, across the Hampshire and Wiltshire counties we have taken the decision to postpone tonight’s fixture.

The Bison, Wildcats and Planet Ice organisation must always take the safety and well-being of the players, officials, volunteers, fans of both teams and the staff working in the arena very seriously and currently with the weather conditions we are all facing, we do not believe this is possible. The car park at the arena is not safe to drive in never mind use it for parking in its current condition.

Once we have a new date agreed with Basingstoke Bison and the league we will  publicise it on all our usual forums and social media mediums.

All tickets purchased for tonight’s cancelled game will be valid for the re-arranged fixture.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused with the postponement of tonight’s game but the safety and well-being of all is paramount.
