Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce that netminders Michael Crisp & Tyler Perre will both be sponsored for the upcoming season by The Roderick Family. With Theo’s name on Crispy’s shirt and Stephanie on Tyler’s.

‘Crispy’ will once again be part of the Wildcats having last iced for the club back in the 16/17 season, where he was backup to Stevie Lyle, deputising in the playoffs where Stevie was unable to ice due to illness.

Tyler joined the club from the ever-successful Okanagan Hockey Academy and is one of the most promising netminding prospects in the UK today. Both Tyler and Michael will work with Renny Marr for the duration of the season.

Confirming the sponsorship, Ian, father of Theo and Stephanie said:

“This is going to be a huge surprise for Stephanie and Theo. They don’t know a thing about this! Theo is probably Crispy’s biggest fan so sponsoring him was a no brainer and it will be great to be supporting another up and coming netminder in Tyler. We can’t wait to see them both on the ice!”

Similarly, Swindon Wildcats Commercial Manager Sally Price said:

“This sponsorship is all part of a surprise for Stephanie and Theo. Their dad has taken advantage of us having two backups this season and they have been loyal sponsors to Crispy before. The whole Roderick family are huge hockey fans. Most Saturdays you’ll see (or hear!) them around the rink selling 50:50 tickets and generally helping us around rinkside. With Theo being in the academy and his sister being his biggest fan we’re thrilled we’ve been able to play a part in this surprise! We hope you like it!
