Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm the off-ice staff for the 19/20 season. The players on the ice could not compete at the level they do without the valuable help of a handful of people, who behind the scenes, are just as valuable as the guys on the ice.

Firstly assisting Head Coach Aaron Nell we have assistant coaches Lee Richardson and Robbie Pamphilon. Lee returns to Swindon from Oxford and will be the assistant coach of the Wildcats, whilst also operating as Head Coach for the NIHL2 side and will operate as an experienced head for Head Coach Aaron Nell throughout the season. Meanwhile, Robbie is no stranger to the Wildcats bench and has played a vital part of the clubs successes in the last couple of years, and will continue to do so this year with Aaron and Lee.

The team will be looked after medically by Back2Fitness a local sports injury company who came on board early in the 2018/19 season. Their support and guidance at games last year was vital and we’re thrilled to have them back with the team this year.

The unsung heroes of the team are probably the most familiar ones, our Head equipment manager Steve ‘Burt’ Bradfordwill once again be lending his expertise with all thing’s equipment. Whilst he will be supported by Pete Bradford andJeff Priest again throughout the season, with the trio looking after the locker-room and everything that comes with it.

New this season we also have the support of a mindset coach who will be supporting the team in ways we’ve not been able to do before. John Lewis will use his unique style to help us achieve our goals this season and ensure the team are best prepared to perform at their highest capacities.

Lastly, but not least, Aaron will have the help of three statisticians for the duration of season keeping an eye on the team’s performance as well as performances of other teams around the National League. Kevin Pamphilon and David Strover will be joined by Data Analyst Jackson Price with the trio working as a unit to ensure the Wildcats Head Coach is as prepared as he can be for all games, and spot performance trends of his own team as well.

Head Coach Aaron Nell himself added:

I’m delighted to have such a strong backroom staff helping us this year. The new league will be an exciting challenge for us, but with these people in place I think it will make us as prepared as we can be for the new season. I can’t thank them all enough for what they do for the club, and I look forward to working with them all this season.
