With the season launch less than a week ago, the Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce the return of some of the most popular faces at the club. Robbie Pamphilon will be returning to his role as assistant coach, Dan Brabon will once again return as Netminding Coach and Charley Keen will be back as the team’s Sports Therapist too.

On top of this Steve ‘Burt’ Bradford has agreed to another year as the Wildcats Equipment Manager where he’ll be ably assisted by Pete Bradford, Mark Thorne and Jeff Priest for the duration of the 18/19 season.

All 6 individuals are a massive part of the club and some of the work they put in may not be noticed but is always appreciated. Swindon Wildcats Head Coach Aaron Nell was delighted his back-room staff would be returning.

“From a coaching perspective, to have Robbie and Dan back is brilliant. I think everyone saw the impact Dan had with Renny last year and he’ll be able to help Crispy and Tyler this year too. Similarly, with Robbie, he’s vital to the team and the work he puts in at training and on gameday really does make my job easier.

Similarly, Charley has been a huge part of the team too, hopefully we can go through the season and give her the easiest year yet, but there isn’t a better person to have around when things do happen and many of the team have benefitted from her advice and support.

Lastly, but by no means least, that brings me to Burt, Pete, Mark and Jeff. The team couldn’t function on the ice without these four. The hard work they put in early in the mornings, late at night, on the road and at training sessions cannot be mentioned enough. We’re lucky to have them around and it’ll be good fun working with them again this season.”.
