Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to announce the pre-season challenge schedule for the 2019/20 season, which will begin with the first game on Saturday 7th September.

Kicking off with a home and away series with Bracknell Bees, the Wildcats know they will be up against tough opponents who have made some key roster additions with the likes of Ryan Webb and Adam Goss joining the ranks.

It will also be a mouth-watering match-up with former Wildcat Robin Kovar facing off against former Bee Tyler Vankleef, in what will be his first game for Swindon.

The Sunday we then travel down to the hive to take on the Bees in a return fixture to complete our first weekend of games for the season.

The following weekend, we take on the Telford Tigers in another home/away series with the first game being on Saturday 14th September at the Better Link Centre, before travelling up to take on Tom Watkins and his men in Telford on the Sunday.

The Tigers again will be tough opposition with familiar faces such as Jason Silverthorn, Jonathan Weaver and Rick Plant now being backed up by Brad Day who has joined from the Sheffield Steelers.

After a long summer of no hockey, with the confirmation of these games, the countdown can officially start and no one is more eager than Head Coach Aaron Nell:

We are always thrilled to get the dates for the first games out there, we are all looking forward to the new season and now the countdown is on. Bracknell and Telford will be tough games for us and they are always entertaining ones to watch.

We are working on the fixtures and the date for the season launch, which will be announced as soon as possible, so stay tuned for that.

We would like to thank Bracknell and Telford for agreeing to these matches and we cannot wait for the puck to drop in September!’

Tickets will go on sale nearer the dates of these games, but make sure to keep these games free!
