On Tuesday 2nd April, you can come to begin the celebrations for Sam Bullas’ Testimonial, with a Race Night being held at the Southbrook in on Tuesday 2nd April from 6:30PM.
It promises to be a great night of entertainment with the opportunity to try to beat the bookies and the odds and hopefully take home some money for yourself too! There will be some players past and present in attendance and plenty of opportunities to go home with some money.
Race nights are always fun and competitive, and with some players and ex-players in attendance, you can guarantee this will be more competitive than ever! Tickets are priced at £5 per person and can be booked by emailing sb13testimonial@gmail.comor by visiting the SWSC Desk on Game day.
On top of all this, we are delighted to be able to confirm FIVE more names confirmed for the testimonial match on 27th April.
Sam Smith
“Sam may have only played in Swindon for a year, but what a year it was! We made it Coventry and fell just short against Manchester but it was a fun team to be a part of and Sam was a big part of that. I think after Aaron he was the highest scoring brit on the team that year so it will be good to ice with him again! ”
Nick Compton
“Nick played with us for two seasons after coming down from Peterborough. He is a top guy and a good hockey player, and on top of all this, he is a Swindon boy. We shared two great seasons and many memories together. I’m pleased he’s agreed to come back for my testimonial”.
James Hadfield
“We’ve got some serious Goalie talent on show at this testimonial, and James rounds off the legends goalies really well. To break into the Swindon team as he did was impressive considering his age. He obviously only spent a year here before some very successful seasons in Guildford, but with James, Stevie and Skinnsy the 18-19 Cats might find getting goals quite difficult!’
Ollie Stone
“Ollie needs no introduction to Swindon fans. He grew up with the club and worked his way up to the Wildcats. He is a really nice guy and was part of the double winning side form last year. Away from the ice, he was also a big part in the community work I did in Swindon and I can’t wait to call him a team-mate again.”
Michael Stratford
“Last and but by no means least we have Stratty. Similarly, to Ollie, he is a local guy and someone who worked hard to get where he did. They were both part of one of the most successful OHA sides ever and always played his heart out for the Wildcats. I’m sure the Swindon fans will love to see him on the Better Link Ice once again!”
