The Swindon Wildcats Supporters Club are pleased to announce the details for the End of Season Party and Presentation.

The event is being held at The Doubletree Hilton Hotel at Junction 16, on Friday 19th April and promises to be a fantastic evening with plenty of fun for everyone as we celebrate the end of a title-winning season with the players and staff from the Wildcats.

This is a seated event and includes a 2-course hot meal, hence places are limited and pre-ordering is essential. Seat reservations and food orders can only be made by using the official booking form which is available from the Supporters Club desk, Wildcat Sports or it can be emailed to you (please send an email to supporters.club@swindonwildcats.com).

The End of Season Party and Presentation has been a great success in recent years and we know the fans, players and off-ice staff look forward to the event. This is not a black tie, formal ‘boring’ awards ceremony, it’s all about celebrating the team’s success with fun, laughter and a few silly surprises. Everyone is welcome, especially children and those who want to celebrate the team’s achievements after a great season of hockey.

The evening will start with a brain-busting hockey quiz, there will be a review of the season and we’ll announce the results of Goal of the Season, Save of the Season and Most Memorable Moment of the Season. Fans will be asked to vote for each of these 3 awards from the end of March until the beginning of April using an online poll, so keep your eyes peeled to social media as these videos will start to be released in the coming days.

There will be photo opportunities with all the players, a prize-laded raffle and other fun things going on! After dinner, the formalities will end with the official awards ceremony. The Supporters Club and coach Aaron Nell will be giving 3 awards each, then we’ll announcing the winner of the prestigious Dave Richardson Award. This is given to the best British player and it was won by Renny Marr last year. Will he win it again? You need to be there to see it.

The evening will finish off with a karaoke and disco so you can grab your favourite player or partner and sing along to all your favourite Wildcat songs, or whatever takes your fancy.

This is a fantastic event and money raised will go directly towards the cost of team travel for the 2019/2020 season, so every penny we raise will really count. Ticket prices are £26.00 for an adult and £16.00 for a child (12 and under) and members of the Supporters Club will get a £2.50 discount on an adult ticket.

Please note that the seating plan will only be decided a few days before the event hence we cannot accept any seating requests, however you will be guaranteed to sit with at least one player.

Full details of the meal choices are on the booking form and reservations are being accepted now by the Supporters Club. The Supporters Club desk is always based outside the Wildcats Sports shop before a home game and the desk moves to the concourse upstairs during the first period break. Please note that payment for tickets can only be accepted in cash, or by bank transfer.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals and companies, please email the Supporters Club if you would like more details. The Supporters Club has also received messages from fans asking if they can make a donation towards the costs of drinks for the players. If anyone would like to make a donation, whatever the amount, please contact the Supporters Club for more details.
