Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm the next member of the 19/20 team will be a familiar face, in the shape of Floyd Taylor after the 24-year-old British Forward put pen to paper on another deal.

Floyd, who made his Wildcats debut in 2011, will be entering his 8th season with the team and is coming off a season where he iced in 48 games and contributed 22 points throughout the season.

His fast-skating and hard-hitting style of play is a big reason why he is one of the most popular players on the team and continues to perform week in week out, despite still being a relatively young forward.

Head Coach Aaron Nell was thrilled to have Floyd’s services at his disposal once more.

“Floyd is the epitome of a Swindon Wildcat. He improves every year and really is one of our most influential forwards. Everyone feeds off the way he plays and the fans absolutely love him. The scary thing for us is he still is only 24. Floyd still has room to improve and we are excited he will be with us for another year.

I cannot wait to get back to work with him in September and I am sure his style of play will be crucial for us going into the new National League. It’s great to have him around and I’m sure the fans will be thrilled as well.”

Speaking to swindonwildcats.com himself, Floyd added:

“I’m really happy to be back in Swindon for another year. Aaron Looks like he is building a good team and I think we have a real chance of winning some more silverware next year.

It is always an honour to play for my hometown team and I am lucky to have done that for the last 7 years now. Every year the players and back-room staff make it enjoyable to play in and I cannot wait to get started again in September!”
