After the EIHA release earlier this afternoon Wildcats Managing Director Steve Nell would like to release the following statement.
‘The decision to ice the extra player yesterday was my call. I believed any U18 players were eligible to play in any game in this season’s NIHL.
I’d like to apologise to the players for the error. I’d also like to offer my deepest apologies to the fans, especially those who had travelled to Peterborough before the news was broken.
